Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played the role of Balasaheb Thackeray and Amrita Rao has played Meena Tai Thackeray wife of the Shiv Sena Supremo, in the movie. It is directed by Abhijit Panse and is made in both Marathi and Hindi language. Avantika Akerekar has played Indira Gandhi, Rajesh Khera as Morarji Desai and Nikhil Mahajan as Sharad Pawar in the movie.
The movie received critical acclaim and Nawazuddin’s performance was lauded by all. Amrita Rao as Meena Tai Thackeray has done a very commendable job too.
